About Let It Go Psychology

Allison B. Welch, Clinical Psychologist

MAPS FCCLP · Psychology Board of Australia approved supervisor · STAP accredited supervisor

Caring for the people who care for our community.

“Welcome to Let It Go Psychology. If you spend your days holding space for everyone else, this is a space to be held yourself.”

Let It Go Psychology was created for adults who spend their lives caring for, leading and supporting others, and who need a thoughtful space in which they can receive care themselves.

Why I Created Let It Go Psychology

Allison Welch is a senior Clinical Psychologist with more than twenty years of experience across mental health and disability, much of it working alongside people in hospitals and in their homes. She understands long hours, complex systems and the quiet cost of always being the person who copes.

For more than eight years, she has operated her private practice during evenings and weekends while continuing to work full time in the hospital system. Let It Go Psychology was created for people who spend substantial parts of their lives caring for, supporting, leading or holding responsibility for others.

The practice offers a warm, thoughtful space where people who are usually relied upon can receive care themselves. Sessions are evidence based, personalised and provided through secure telehealth across Australia, subject to clinical suitability.
