Private Health Insurance
If you hold extras cover that includes psychology, you may be able to claim part of your session fee back from your health fund.
How it works
The rebate depends on your fund and your level of cover, so it is worth asking your fund what they pay per session for psychology, and whether telehealth consultations are included, before you book. No referral is required to claim through private health insurance.
Medicare or private health, not both
You can claim through Medicare or through private health insurance for a given session, but not both. Private health rebates may not apply to abbreviated group sessions.
What it costs
Individual telehealth consultation, 50 to 60 minutes: $330
Payment is taken securely by card at the time of your appointment. Visa and Mastercard are accepted. American Express and Diners Club are not. Your receipt is issued automatically so that you can claim with your fund.
Cancellation and rescheduling
If you cannot keep an appointment, or would like to move it, Let It Go Psychology asks for at least 24 hours notice and 48 hours where possible. Appointments cancelled inside that period, or not attended, are charged the full session fee. This charge cannot be claimed through Medicare or private health insurance.
